Celebrity Film School for Kids from Poor Families

Film school for children from low-income families will open in Los Angeles by the fall of next year, called Roybal School of Film and Television.

Come to school will be the ninth grade and the training time to make up four years. The faculty will include actors and film industry experts.

Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria will co-direct the project with Clooney:

"Our goal is to reflect the diversity of our country better. That means creating school programs that teach young people how to handle cameras, edit visuals, work with sound. Gives all the career opportunities this industry has to offer," George Clooney told Variety.
