Leonardo DiCaprio wants a President Concerned about Climate Change

Leonardo DiCaprio turns the attention of presidential candidates to climate change.

In his interview during a Japanese press conference for The Revenant the star shared his opinion concerning the president. The Oscar holder thinks that the president should not only acknowledge the climate change, but also take measures to eradicate the constantly growing problem.

A candidate who does not believe in modern science is not a solution, he considers. The actor stated that climate change is one of the most urgent issues that influences the whole humanity.

DiCaprio did not suggest the best-fitting candidate for this post. However, we have noticed that Donald Trump has turned to climate change lots of times and called it a “very expensive hoax”. Besides, Ted Cruz spoke of the issue as of a “pseudo-scientific theory”.

Leonardo shared that they have been travelling around the world and documenting the issue.
