Penelope Cruz banned children from social networking sites until age 16

Spanish actress and model Penelope Cruz said that she does not allow her children to use social networks to protect their unformed psyche. 

The star believes that up to 16 years should enjoy life and not waste unnecessary information.

According to her, the modern world allegedly conducts an experiment on teenagers. They observe the development of people who have a surplus of technology. She said this in a conversation with CBS Sunday Morning reporters on YouTube.

"I feel sorry for those who are in their teens right now. The world seems to be doing some kind of experiment on them. There's no protection for them, for their brains, which are still developing," said the mother of two.
