Paris Hilton got engaged to a perfumer

Famous socialite Paris Hilton officially got engaged to her chosen one, businessman Carter Reum.

Carter Reum, together with his brother, created the brand of premium perfume VEEV Spirits. He is also the author of books on entrepreneurship. 

Paris Hilton detailed her website's engagement, saying that they were walking with Carter on the beach on a tropical island when he "suddenly" led her to a gazebo decorated with flowers, where he dropped to one knee and proposed to her.
