John Travolta honored the memory of his deceased son

One of the actor's three children passed away in 2009.

John Travolta, 67, dedicated an Instagram post to his deceased son Jett. He would have turned 29 yesterday.

John's son passed away in 2009 at the age of 16: The boy was autistic and suffered from Kawasaki syndrome, which affects the middle and small arteries, causing Jett to have epileptic seizures. During a family vacation in the Bahamas, the child had such a seizure and fell and hit his head on the tub.

Travolta posted an archival photo with his son and wrote, "Happy birthday, my sweet Jett. Love you."
