James Cameron tells about Avatar 2

The director shared some details about the creation of the second part of Avatar.

The main characters, Jake and Neytiri, raise an eight-year-old daughter. The film will focus on family values, so Cameron considers it an important task to show the parents' quarrel through the eyes of a child.

Cameron told Empire, that there is a scene of a dispute between Jake and Neytiri on three pages, a marital quarrel, very important for the plot. In the end, I took everything off from the point of view of an eight-year-old girl hiding and spying from behind a shelter.

The new part of the franchise with the possible subtitle 'Avatar: The Way of Water' and it will be released worldwide rolled December 18, 2020. The third film is planned to be released on December 17, 2021, then two more pictures will follow.
