Ben Affleck makes a film about World War II

Ben Affleck will shoot a military Ghost Army movie. He will also perform one of the main roles in the film.

The film script was written by Nic Pizzolatto. The movie tells about the secret operation, conducted in 1944, at the height of World War II. For this, a group of soldiers was abandoned in France, behind enemy lines. The mission of this unit was, for example, to make the Germans believe that the offensive was proceeding in the opposite direction to the real one. And it forced the Germans to mobilize their forces in the wrong place or at the wrong time.

For this purpose, inflatable tanks and trucks, false radio communications, recordings of various sounds and noises reproduced through loudspeakers were used. And all this was necessary only in order for people to believe that a significant movement of troops was taking place.
