Amal and George Clooney present the TrialWatch project

Amal and George Clooney visit Columbia University in New York. 

The couple visits the law school and presented their first joint project TrialWatch.

The project's goal is to send lawyers to courtrooms around the world to monitor and observe processes with a high risk of fictitiousness and corruption. On this occasion, Amal said to the audience:

'Courts around the world are increasingly being used to silence dissidents and vulnerable groups. But so far there has been no systematic answer to this. TrialWatch is a global initiative to monitor litigation, expose abuses and protect victims, through which the injustice problem can be resolved.'
