Singer Rihanna became Barbados Ambassador

Singer Rianna is appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Barbados.

Rihanna, who also acts as filmmaker and head of the Fenty brand, will deal with issues related to education, tourism and attracting investment after a proper order from the Barbados authorities.

The singer has already become the cultural ambassador of Barbados in 2008, working closely with the Ministry of Tourism. Now she can act on behalf of her state, presenting it in other countries.
