Kurt Russell will play the main role in the film about cryptocurrencies

Preparations for the filming of the film "Crypto" began in the US.

The new movie will tell about the origin and development of the cryptocurrency.

The main roles in the film will be performed by Kurt Russell, Alexis Bledel, Jeremy Harris, Vincent Cartayzer and Luke Hemsworth.

"Crypto" will tell the story of a young anti-money laundering agent who is tasked with investigating an intricate network of corruption and fraud in his hometown in a suburb of New York.

"Cryptocurrencies have attracted a lot of consumers attention and entrepreneurs all over the world, but they have never been represented in the film in such an exciting way," said project producer Jordan Levine.

The release date of the picture is unknown.
