Robert Pattinson is officially approved for the role of Batman in the next part of the popular franchise.
The picture with the same name will be released in 2021.
The actor's talks with The Warner Bros were successful, and now the Twilight star will play the legendary superhero. The film's director of the new "Batman" will be Matt Reeves.
33-year-old Pattinson will replace 46-year-old Ben Affleck, who starred in previous projects "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League."
